Update on the cadets.

Paisley is about to be our newest cadet member.
When we do our next investigation, it will be my first building, and her first investigation ever.
I'm hoping this will be a great learning experience for all of us, as well as our original cadets.

The EVP's from the lodge were quite a thrill to hear. I would like to get something as good as them when we investigate, and since their children maybe they will open up to us a little more than they did the adults. :)

Cadet UPDATE.

So I've heard that our parent team is thinking about creating an online application for those who seek to become a cadet of the Emerald Valley Paranormal, and I just gotta say I think it would be a lot easier. [;

We have two more people who are thinking about becoming cadets & it's edging closer to March. We cadets are really looking forward to doing our very first building investigation, and getting cadets who haven't had experiences to have a least one encounter with our paranormal buddies. :D

All the same, March isn't coming soon enough to me, and it's really the main event in my "things to look forward to" list, hehe.

I'll update you when I get more info on our building investigation and the application for the cadets.

Just a reminder: Parents if your reading; If your child is joining, it doesn't mean you are. The adult group is full. I hope that doesn't determine wether or not your child joins but that's kinda the way it is.

:)

All of us cadets are very excited to go on our cadet investigation in March. We are really hoping to inspire a lot of groups and get some more cadet teams started in Oregon, and to prove that kids can be Paranormal investigators. We are barely able to contain ourselves for this because we are making speeches and taking questions from adults. I am flattered by the amount of those reading my posts and the reactions we've been getting. I am 100% truthful in everything I type and I want each and every one of you to know we all love what we do, even our youngest investigator who gets scared and that's okay. Even if it's ghosts, we love the adrenaline rush and the feeling of being scared. Bring it on Oregon Cave Chateau. ;D

A scary night, no one will forget.

Not long ago, maybe a month or so ago, another cadet investigation took place. And I can say in all honesty, it was the scariest thing I, myself have ever had to endure. It sure blew Paranormal State out of the water, that's for sure.

Anyway, that night at a local cemetery, we were there mainly to get some videos of the cadets to show America and all those people who say "Kids shouldn't be ghost hunting" that they can sit back and watch before they talk. But from the beginning, the adults and I could tell something bad was going to happen.

As we were investigating, the boys, and my cousin and I switched sides of the cemetery while our adult group filmed and supervised. This cemetery has four corners. Ashley and I ended up in the upper right hand corner (entering the cemetery). Not too long after standing there, the sky growled, and thunder and lighting pierced through it. All we could think was "Oh no.." If you've ever read about Paranormal Activity, you'd know why. :)

So there stood two girls, vulnerable and loving every second of it. I was bored with questions, so I did the one thing a cadet should never do, I provoked. The trees that lined the cemetery grew darker, and the spirits came out to play like it was a carnival for the deceased. In the very corner right in front of us, I saw a man, well, what looked like a man.

A tall black mass stood about half the length of a football field from me and my young cousin.

The more I taunted and provoked, the closer he got. Eventually, he got too close for my comfort and I stopped.
As soon as I stopped, he backed up into the tree-line again, and I saw then that he was very transparent.

I called to my aunt, and she didn't just come to our aid, she dragged us into the corner. I could feel my hair standing on end, and suddenly its like all I could see were spirits. I chased in the abysmal darkness with my finger where our guest ventured.

We got a little freaked, so we traded again, so we ventured to the lower left hand corner (leaving the cemetery) and stood to do some EVP. That's when Ashley said she could see a woman and 2 men.I looked up, ready not to believe her, but when I squinted my eyes, I saw what she meant.

The thought that maybe it was my mom and uncle came over me, but I quickly noticed, they were behind us, in a different corner.... so who were these people?

They were, without a doubt transparent. Standing there facing each other, with their heads facing us.

My aunt decided after that, it was time to get out of there, and that's when Ashley started crying. She could hear them in her head, and the things she was saying were starting to creep me out. We turned around and started heading back when I heard someone say "Niki!". Thinking it was Ashley, I asked her what she wanted. She said it wasn't her and so did my aunt.

When I looked back in front of me, there were about 20 black figures, menacingly standing in front of us. I couldn't believe it, and the vibe I was feeling... This wasn't good. Because the were walking towards us.

My aunt shouted to them telling them to stay there, and instead of backing away they just stopped, as if to challenge us. We kept walking, a little faster and suddenly my aunt grabbed me and Ashley and jerked us back, as two logs flew past our heads. "RUN!" my aunt yelled.

And we did run, back to the cars, white flashes and black flashes flying past us. We ran up to the other group, and I gathered everyone while my aunt put Ashley in their truck. My mom, Colton, David and I dove into our car and sped out of the cemetery.

My cousin said that as our car was leaving, a black mass was chasing after it, until we got back onto the main road.

That night, as I was going over evidence, there in a slanted line, posing for the camera, were about six shadow people, some with red faces and some with grey, each portraying an overbearingly mad expression.

"Hannah"

Two years ago, it was a night in the cemetary like no other, or so we thought that's what it was going to be.

The rest of the cadets and I were preparing while it was still daylight outside, for a hunt in which we thought we wouldn't find anything. The boys were walking around, checking out tombstones and killing time before dark. I found a tombstone and sat down for a break.
My mom snapped a cellphone picture of me, and we carried on our marry way.

Darkness settled in, and even thought it was a cemetary, there didn't really seem to be anything paranormal about it. A windchime twinkled from up in a tree. And a breeze whisped through our crowd. Our adult team and another adult team were with us, but this night was for us children.

In the darkness, alone, I made my way over to the adults and the rest of my crew, with the sudden eerie feeling of being watched... and followed.

Standing amongst witnessess, I said something like "Theres nothing here, we were right", and the hood from my head flew back, pulling a few strings of my hair with it, and it caused me to stumble backwards.

I was terrified, because there wasn't a wind strong enough to remove my hood, nor was there anyone living behind me.

And that's when I met my spirit friend, "Hannah".

We called her Hannah after an EVP we later picked up in the same cemetary revealed that name to us, and even though it was just a hunch, my little ghostly amigo abides by this name. As of the picture on my moms cellphone, is where I first saw her. She's wearing a ruffled sleved dress and has brown hair and blue eyes, so shes told me. We're still stunned to this day that she showed up so well in a picture, a cellphone at that. She can't be any older than 10.

I knew I had a spirit with me, because days, even weeks after we had completed that investigation, I felt I was never alone. I was deffinatley right.

I've talked to her with rods, evps, and even just out of the blue without any equipment.
I used to be a little uneasy with a spirit around, but after talking with her, and her saving my life, I know she's not bad.

I'll get into how she saved the lives of my Aunt Darci, my cousin Ashley and I in the next post..
Until then, thanks for reading :)
